Welcome to

Thank you for your interest in Discovery Day Camps for summer 2019!  Our STEAM-inspired camp themes are designed to inspire and encourage young children to explore and think creatively about our world. This half-day program will keep campers busy with fun, age-appropriate activities, games and outdoor play.  Don’t miss out!  Enrollment opens February 15th!

Camp Dates, Themes and Prices

June 10-14: Underwater Adventure

$ 150
  • Dive in to an underwater adventure! Campers will have the chance to fish for sea creatures, explore the ocean through sensory play, and take photos as a deep sea diver! While campers explore the depths of the ocean, from beaches to the ocean floor, they will also learn the depths of Christ’s love for them.

June 24-28: STEAM

$ 150
  • Engineering, science, arts and innovation all come together for STEAM adventures! Campers will have a chance to put on their hard hats and work on projects that include construction, simple machinery, and technology. All of these projects are “foundational” in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and math just as Christ lays the foundation of our faith.

July 8-12: Outer Space

$ 150
  • 3-2-1 BLAST OFF! Campers will be adventuring to the unknown of outer space. This week’s space cadets will participate in a moonwalk, create their own spaceship, and explore the planets. Here campers will learn what exists beyond the earth and the extent of the universe that God created in Genesis 1.

July 22-26: The Human Body

$ 150
  • As campers adventure into the human body they’ll learn what it means to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, strength, and mind! Campers will participate in activities that teach them about “me” by participating in fitness relays, making their own x-ray prints, and exploring the five senses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Each day following drop-off campers will participate in a welcome activity and review their day ahead! Throughout the day campers will engage the week’s theme in various ways, such as games, music, centers, crafts, etc.  They will also have a story time and enjoy outdoor play.

Parents can begin dropping off their campers at 8:45 A.M. and campers must be picked up no later than 12:15 P.M.

Students should bring a peanut-free snack each day, leak-proof cup with water and wear clothing appropriate for messy play.  Please also apply sunblock before sending your child to camp each day.  Please send in a change of clothes.  Children who are not potty-trained need to bring their own diapering supplies.  Please make sure all items are labeled with your child’s name.

Due to the short amount of time in the day, campers will not eat lunch at camp. Each class will have a snack time during their day and we request that parents pack a healthy snack for their campers and a refillable, leak-proof bottle of water.

Each week, on Thursday, campers in the 4’s and 5’s classes will participate in an outdoor water activity. We limit water day to these ages to help ensure the safety of our younger campers. Please review the camp policies to know what campers need to bring with them on water day!
