Transitional Kindergarten

Program Overview
Transitional Kindergarten classes are available for four and five-year-old children who are ready for a more structured program to help prepare them for kindergarten. The subject matter is broader and lessons are more in-depth than our four-year-old preschool classes. Our approach includes both teacher and student directed activities, encouraging students to explore and engage each lesson in many ways.
What Children Will Learn
Students enrolled in the TK class use a Kindergarten curriculum designed for five year olds, adapted for our half day program. This curriculum includes other subjects, such as History and Science. These students also attend weekly Specials: Music ‘n Movement, Library, Obstacle Course, Art, and Chapel. All preschoolers are taught Bible stories, Bible memory verses and how to pray for each other ever day.
What's The Class Like?
We keep our class sizes small and teacher to student ratios low. Class options are offered Monday through Thursday from 9:15 AM-1:00 PM. Parents may enroll their child to attend four days per week.
